Logan Co tax lists show Mary Felts, widow of Archibald Felts, as having 800 acres on the Gasper River for the years between 1825 and 1839 - that's as far as I've checked those records. She didn't appear in the 1840 census under her own name, but there is a lady age 70-80 in the household of Archibald Felts and in the household of James Felts that year. She could be either, or perhaps one was her sister-in-law, Phoebe Felts, widow of Augustine.

Her maiden name may have been Weldon and she had previously been married to a Baugh.
