Being sick and weak of body... all my temporal & real Estate to beloved wife Elizabeth during her natural life or widowhood and after given in legacies: To son John the Elder, 2.3.9 Virginia money and 7.16.3. now due to me. To son Samuel Morse, the plantation and land belonging, all personal Estate after wife's decease. Son Reuben Morse, Executor. Signed with his mar.

Being sick and weak. To son Allen Morse, 150#'s Virginia money; negro boy Bob. To son Willis Morse, 150#'s Virginia money, negro boy George. To daughter Sarah Christian, two negroes, Venus & Lucy. To dau Martha Morse, two negroes, Isbell & Liza. To daughter Mary Morse, two negroes, Tom & Jinny. To my beloved wife Phillis Morse, Negro woman Hannah & her increase. Lend to wife five negroes - Manyard, Jacob, London, Darkes & Sarah during her natural life or widowhood. Should she remarry, the five to be divided equally among all my children. If she dies without remarrying, to be divided equally among all my children at her death. To Vinkler Jones, Senr, all my tract of land whereon I now live, 300 acres, two small parcels adjoining, one known as Denton's, the other Jones'. Also 450 acres joining John Craft, Charles Williams, John More, Rubin Morse & Stephen Sneed. All the land in Granville County. All my stock and household goods to be sold & the money equally divided among all my children. Executors: living wife Phillis Morse, Elijah Mitchel, & brother Rubin Morse. Signed: Samuel (X) Morse.
