Samuel was of Taunton, will dated 17 Mar 1732, in which his wife Mercy and the following children appear: Samuel, Joshua, Nehemiah, Lydia, Mary, and Hannah - order of their births is unknown. In the Taunton Vital Records, his death is stated "Samuel Haskins 2nd died Sept 11, 1732 in 53rd yr. His father had apprently died only a short while earlier and Samuel had often used the "2nd" after his name.

Samuel married Joanna and had Peter, Sarah who married Henry Burt, Abigail, Phebe, Amy & John. His estate was divided in 1761, naming the widow and children as note.

Joshua and his wife had Joshua, Abijah, Lemuel, Mercy who married a Pratt, Lydia who married Abraham Lincoln of Tauton and Freetown (not in family of President Lincoln), Prudence who married Lemuel Hathaway, Rebecca who married Nathan Hack, Hannah, Ann who married an Eddy.
Joshua was of Taunton. Will, dated 1 Jan 1772 - names children; Ann unmarried.

The will of Samuel Hoskins, dated 17 Mar 1731/2 and probated 21 Oct 1732 (Bristol Probate, Book 7: p.436-7. Digitized on Ancestry.com) Contains:
to son Samuel - land I already conveyed to him
to son Joshua, land already conveyed and my right in the great cedar swamp in Taunton North Purchase
to daughters Lydia, Mercy, and Hannah, money in additon to what they had already recevied
all the rest of my real estate, wife is to improve - she to have the use of what has been given to son Nehemiah as long as she remains my widow

Administration granted to son Nehemiah Hoskins, as executor.
