Marcus Malone

(Ca 1812 - )

Tippah Co 1850 - there are two Malone widows
Hh 1012, living surrounded by John Malone and many of his children is this widow:
Martha F. (dittoed Malone, but a separate household), age 50, b. NC
Children all born in TN: John, 17. Caroline, 14. Thomas, 13. Catherine, 10.
This is very likely Martha Crucher and the enumerator failed to change the surname.

Then there is this unidentified widow - who seems a little old to be a widow of Marcus. There are earlier dees to a George D. & Jane Malone and Thomas Malone & Julia Ann of Marshall Co - she would not be either of these ladies. Could she have been a sister-in-law to either Booth Malone or John? With children born in Alabama that seems to be a possibility.
