Last Will and Testament of Alexander Adamson
provisions: devises to well beloved son Walter A. Adamson, the farm upon which he now resides, in Indian Creek Township, Lawrence Co, the west half the south east quarter, section 25, township 5 north, range 2 west. Also the southwest quarter of section 25, township 5 north, rante 2 west, except one and 41/100 acres off of the south east quarter of the southwest quarter for a road. Also a part of the north half of the north west quarter of section 36, township 5 north, range 2 west, the same being all that part of the said north west quarter that lies north and west of the pike road leading from Bedford to Williams, described as follows: being at northeast corner of said north west quarter, went on the lie dividing sections 25 and 36 to the line dividing the lands of Alexander Adamson from the lands of Earnest Adamson, thence south on said line to the south east corner of the lands of Earnest Adamson, thence east to the center of the pike road leading from Bedford to Williams, thence with the center line of said road with the meaderings to a point where the east line of said north west quarter crosses said center line, thence north to the beginning - all in Lawrenc County, Satate of Indiana. Asserts that his son is to have and hold forever in fee simple, the lands and farm known as my home place.
I bequeath to my said son, Walter A. Adamson, all household and kitchen furniture and farming implements, and all of my personal property of every kind.
Previously gave to my other two children - Cornela E., wife of Frank Jackson, and to Maud A., now deceased, formerly the wife of Dr. Elijah E. Mitchell, the fair, just and proportionate part of my estate. Walter A. has cared for me and for his mother while she lived and is now caring for me.
"I loved all my children with a fathers devotion, and I hope and pray, that they will all do right and deal honorably, honestly and justly with all mankind, I feel and believe I've delt fairly and justly with each of them."
