Will of Abraham K. Adamson, dec.
In the name of God, Amen! I, Abraham K. Adamson of the County of Lawrence and state of Indiana, being of sound mind and membory and considering the uncertainty of this transitory and frail life do therefore make, ordain, establish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say.
First, after all my lawful and just debts are paid and discharged, the residue of my estate, real and personal, I give bequeath, and dispose of as follows, to wit: To my beloved wife the land and appurtenances situated thereon it being the south east quarter of section twenty six, township
five north of range two west, situated and being in the County of Lawrence and State of Indiana, also the north half of the north east quarter of section thirty five, same county, town and range, together with the following described property to wit: all the household and kitchen furniture, two head of horses and three head of milk cows, to be selected by her, also one yearling man colt and the one third part of all my remaining personal estate, now possessed by me during the term of her natural life, or so long as she remains my widow, or until my youngest child John Rainey Adamson, becomes of the age of twenty one yeard, then, or in case my wife should marry again, then and in that case, the one third part of my real estate to wit: the north half of the south east quarter of section twenty six in township five north of range two west situate in the County of Lawrence and State of Indiana, together with the above named personal property to go to my wife Louisa Adamson. I give, beqqeath and devise all the rest and remainder of my real and personal estate to my children now living, or to my children who may then be living in equal proportions.
Likewise I make, constitute and appoint my father John W. Adamson, to be executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, this 12th day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifity five.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the same Abraham K. Adamson, in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us; and he, at the same time published and declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament, and we, at the testator's request and in his presence have signed our names as witness hereto.

State of Indiana, Lawrence County. We do solemnly affirm that the foregoing will of Abraham K. Adamson, late of said county, deceased, was duly executed by the testator who was at the time of execution competent to devise his property and not under coercion.
