State of Tennessee No. 813. For sum of one cent per acre, and entered, #1019, on 31 Oct 1826, under an Act of the General Assembly 3 Dec 1825. Granted 100 acres to John Bean, 100 acres, surveyed 20 Jul 1827. On Blackburn's Fork of Roaring River. Begin south side said fork; crossing creek; Burkel Kennard's Southwest corner of his 20 acre tract, his line. Including said Bean's house and part of his improvements. Signed at Nashville, 11 Sep 1828, Gov. Sam Houston, Daniel Graham, Secretary.
State of Tennessee No. 7237. Entry no. 2350, 3 Jun 1836. To John Bean, 190 acres survey dated 23 Nov 1838. In Jackson Co on waters of Blackburn's Fork. Begin Kennard's north west corner of his 300 acres tract, his north boundary line; East boundary line of Robert Lawson's, with his line; 100 acre survey of Swearingan's; west boundary line of 320 acre tract of John Humble's, his corner. Signed at Nashville, 31 Oct 1839. James K. Polk, Gov.; Luke Lea, Secretary. This grant recorded twice.
