Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church in Hamilton on Sunday, May 18, for Dr. John Burleson, 74, who died in Hamilton on Friday, May 16, at 5:30 pm.
...The widow said that Dr. Burleson had not practiced since last November due to ill health.
Burial was in the Hamilton Cemetery....
Dr. Burleson is survived by this wife, Mrs. Carrie Burleson; two daughters Mrs. Ava Glenn of Texas and Mrs. Evelyn Loden of Hamilton; and two sons, Howard of North Carolina and Gaston of Nashville, TN
