Joel Buford Mays, 80, Dies at Residence Here
Josel Buford mays, 80, 3008 Border Street, died yesterday afternoon at the residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Hamilton. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Johns directing.
Mr. Mays is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Princie Howell, Birmingham, and Mrs. Effie Bobo, Hamilton; five sons, J. R. Mays, Birmingham, Morgan Mays, Haleyville, and J. H., Lebron and Clint Mays, Hamilton; a sister, Mrs. Melinda Clark, Winfield; a brother J. d. Mays, Haleyville, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
