Robert Wesley Lansford, 79, died at 9:30 p Sunday, Nov. 26, 1972, at his home. He had been ill for some time.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Earnheart Funeral Home chapel. Bill Baker, Church of Christ minister, officiated. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery near Ladonia.
Mr. Lansford was born July 23, 1893 in Tennessee, son of Mr. & Mrs. W. H. Lansford. He married Miss Annie Terry March 26, 1916, at Ladonia.
He was a member of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ and a retired farmer.
Survivors are his wife, of the home, five sons, Robert H., Vernon & Donald Lansford, all of McKinney, Douglas Lansford of Bells and Kenneth Lansford of Pasadena; one daughter, Mrs. James Summerlin of Lubbock; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
