Dean Summerlin, 67, of Marble Falls died Sept. 23, 2007. Memorial service will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at 3 p.m., at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Burnet. Bro. Gil Ash will be officiating.
Born Aug. 7, 1940 in Bonham, Dean was the son of James Robert and Lois (Lansford) Summerlin. Dean enjoyed life and loved the Marines, the Police Department, his family and the Masonic Lodge. He and Gatha were married June 7, 1962, in Crosby County.
Survivors include his wife, Gatha of Marble Falls; daughter, Tanya Odom of Granite Shoals; grandsons, Christopher Odom, Joseph Odom, and Jessie Odom, all of Granite Shoals; and his brothers, Bill Summerlin and wife Laveta of Arlington, James "Buck" Summerlin and wife Freddie of Lubbock, and Dale Summerlin of Lubbock.
