Cromwell was a stone mason and moved to Springfield MA and then to Chicopee MA where he died and is buried in Chicopee Falls Cemetery. He married 1)Caroline Bradford Sanderson on 20 Oct. 1828 - she of Smithfield RI.

Abby B. born 15 Aug. 1831 in Smithfield RI; died 16 May 1910 in Agawam MA; married 3 Nov. 1836 at Springfield, Hampden MA to Harvey M. Woodburn of Springfield, born 27 July 1833 at Windham VT (VIR)

Cromwell married 2)widow Lucinda Wyman, daugh of John S. Edwards and Phoebe Williams; she died at her son William's house in Meriden CT 1876, but buried in Springfield MA ( NOTE: I have some interesting background on her)

William B. Comstock, son of Cromwell stated that he was only five years old when his father died and he was early obliged to earn his livelihood. He remained on a farm in Belchertown MA until 15 years of age...he married on 27 Nov. 1860 in New York to Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Whittaker, daughter of Charles Stewart.
