OBITUARY
James C. Randel was born at Sedan, Kansas, October 2, 1895 and departed this life Sept 7, 1918, being 22 years, 11 months, and 5 days old.
He was married to Miss Leota Bryant, of Cedar Vale, Kansas, Mar 27, 1918. He answered the call to the Colors, June 27, 1918, and sailed for France some time the last of August and contracted measles on board and pneumonia followed, causing death in one week after landing.
He is survived by his wife, father, mother, four sisters, and one brother to mourn his death.
