Sarah Louisa Pruitt, wife of A. G. Niles died at her home in Sedan on Monday night, Nov 14, 1895, of blood poisoning resulting from child birth. The interment took place Tuesday at on o'clock in Greenwood Cemetery. The funeral will be held later, waiting the arrival of absent relatives. Mrs. Niles was born Feb 20, 1857, being at the time of her in her 39th years. At the age of 16 she was married to A. G. Niles at Carrolton, Green Co, Illinois. IN 1879 they came west and settled in Kansas. The following seven children have been bornto them: Ada E., age 22; Oscar L., age 20; Willie R., who died Sep 26, 1883, at Spring Creek, this county, at the age of 6 years; Alva J., age 14; Orvel C., age 12; Henry M., age 7; and Ruth, age 21 days.
The sympathies of the whole community go forth to this sorrowing family who have lost the nearest and dearest to them all - wife and mother.
