Lived in Kosciusko MS. Said to have married a Miss Durham and had one daughter; the first wife died and he married her sister, Georgia. They apparently had the child Mary E [I believe E. Love Comfort may also have been a child of the first wife]. Children from 2nd wife were: Edgar, Catharine, Daniel B., Georgia, William, James, Lida [Elza Love], Hugh, Elizabeth, Eugene. [Clifton was omitted from this list. In the 1910 census, Georgia stated she had 11 children and with the addition of Clifton, that makes 11.]

Found in Madison Co MS in 1850 Census with "Ellen C. Comfort". She was age 50, b. KY. Children still at home were Daniel B., age 26, also born in KY. Catherine age 13 and Elizabeth age 15, both born in Mississippi.
