James Byrd left Tennessee between 1840 and 1850 with his son and daughter and migrated to Missouri by 1850. Much of the famuly history states that his first wife was Nancy Carpenter 1800-1857.
Second wife was Dica Lee 1805-1857 - they married March 05,1843 Green Co. Mo.
He married a third time to Elizabeth Teague in 1857
He is buried Bethel Campground Cemetery, Edwards, Benton Co, MO.
