Robert Bascomb Withers and Elizabeth (Bettie) L. Ware Withers lived in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where they were born and married, and where Bettie L. Withers is buried. At his wife's death, his (Robert B. Withers's) mother Mary Ann (Richardson) Withers, returned to Reidsville, North Carolina (her old home) with his children and another grandchild, Ann Louis Withers, daughter of her son John Prichard Withers. Mary Ann Richardson Withers (wife of Lewis Wyatt Withers) is buried in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, North Carolina. She died Mar 30, 1899, and is buried next to her sister, Mrs Glass-Tempie Harris Prince.
