Agness married George Millikin. she and Leonard are said by some to have been twins, but I doubt this. One descendant reported that they were brought up by an unmarried aunt "Miss Lucy Fike".

Certainly there was a Lucy Fike living in early Logan Co. Some have said a Lucy Fike was married to William West, but I doubt this unless it took place in their old age and there is no such marriage in Logan Co. Lucy may have been the daughter of a John Thomas Fike and Elizabeth Sarah Malachi who lived in Granville Co NC where the Wests seem to have been. If indeed she was a maiden aunt, then one of her brothers much have also come to Logan Co. since other Fikes are present. It is suggested that Lucy died about 1821 in Simpson Co KY where some members of the West family had settle.d

In 1799, Lucy Fike was taxed was taxed on 150 acres on Spring Creek - she had patented this land. A John and Malachi Fike were taxed earlier. John Fike as early as 1795, and Malachi beginning in 1797 - both still there in 1799. John was located on Drakes Creek, Malachi had two tracts on Spring Creek. All three were still present for the 1800 tax list and a James Fike seemed to have been taxed on one of Malachi's tracts.

A Malaciah Fike wrote his will 5 Sep 1809, in Logan Co. WB A, p.115.
He left land in Logan Co to a grandson, James M. Fike and to son James Fike, Land in Robertson Co TN to son Elisha and to Josiah Fike a nephew and son of Tyery Fike [presumably a brother, Tyree Fike]. Money to daughters, Ann Phelps, Rachel Ward, and Elizabeth Glisen. His wife was Ann. Executors to be John Fike and James Fike. Witnessed by John Neely, Leonard West, and James West. No probate date given.
Malachi is also shown in various online databases as a son of John Thomas Fike and Elizabeth Sarah Malachi - along with a sister Lucy and brother Tyree.
