Richard said to have married Amy Williamson about 1826 - Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, VA. [This location seems very unlikely to me.] Children all said to have been born in Logan Co KY.

1810 Census, Logan Co KY. If Amos's son was born as late as indicated, 1800, then none of these Richards can be him. Presumably the oldest one is his uncle.

However, I find in 1830, Logan Co KY:

On the same page was William Millikin, age 40-50, and Elijah Fike, age 40-50 - Millikin and Fike families both associated with the Wests.

The following may be this Richard's will:
WILL OF RICHARD WEST
LOGAN COUNTY, KY
WILL BK. G, p. 193
In the name of God. Amen. I, Richard West, knowing that it is appointed
once for man to die and being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make
this my last will and Testament revoking all others made by me.
Item 1st I give my soul to God who made it.
Item 2nd I will that all my Just debts be paid out of my estate with
my funeral expenses.
Item 3rd My will is that my executors sell so much of my property as
will defray all my debts and expenses and the balance be kept for the
benefit of raising and schooling my children.
Item 4th My will is that after the raising and schooling of my
children and they arrive at the age of twenty-one or marry that my
estate be equally divided amongs them giving to my beloved wife Amy
West her choice whether to take a child's part or one third part of
my estate at that period.
Item 5th I will that my executor attend to my business of all
descriptions, renting of my land and collecting rents and debts of
all kinds.
Item 6th I appoint William Milliken and James Herndon and James H. West
my executors to this my last will.

At a county court held for said county at the Court House in Russellville
on the 22nd day of March 1841. The within Last will and Testament of
Richard West, Dec'd., was produced in open court and proven by the oaths
of George Halcomb, William Milliken, and James Herndon subscribing
witnesses thereto to be the last will and Testament of said Richard
West and ordered to be recorded....
