I am not sure that this son existed. If he did, he didn't come to Kentucky with the rest of the family. In most databases there is no additional info - I have a wife as Mary Wilson, and as Mary Boyer but with no dates, etc. Mary Wilson was the wife of his nephew Daniel, son of Stephen - so that is certainly wrong. Most databases have no information about Daniel

Is it possible that he was the husband of widow Clarinda Noland? He seems to be the most likely candidate...

Or was there another brother named William? The 1759 Rowan Co NC tax list had a William Noland with 2 polls.
