Mrs. Dorenda Mims Maddox, age 54, died at the home, Clanton Rte 2, Monday morning at 4:55 o'clock. Services were held at Concord, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. R. W. Stuckey and Rev. G. G. Williams; Spigener directing.
The husband, Arthur J. Maddox, survives; one son, Billy Gene Maddox; one grandchild; two daughters, Mrs. Hershel Wright and Miss Bobbie Dean Maddox; five brothers, Clyde Mims, Virgil, & Melvin, all of Clanton, Enoch of Montgomery, and Ollie of Birmingham; two sisters - Mrs. Grady Taylor of Route 2, and Mrs. Judson Easterling of Clanton; father, E. P. Mims of Route 2.
