Samuel Comstock

5 Dec 1721 Samuel Comstock of New London deeded Sarah Knight that "upland granted to my father Daniel Comstock, 19 Dec 1658" on the west side of Mohegan River.
17 Mar 1723 Samuel Comstock and wife Martha of New London deeded another tract to Sarah Knight.
Samuel lived in Montville, CT and was buried in the Society burying ground on Raymond Hill.

Samuel Comstock was the son of Daniel Comstock & Paltiah Elderkin. He married (1) Sarah Douglas on 22 June 1699 in New London CT. They had two children, Samuel and Christopher. His wife Sarah died 1 April 1704. He later married (2) Martha Jones, and they had six children; Nathaniel, Gideon, Zebadiah, Caleb, Martha, and Jonathan.
In May, 1719, Samuel Comstock was appointed Lieutenant of North Company, Connecticut Militia, New London. In 1730, he was appointed Captain of North Company.
He is buried in the Society Burying Ground on Raymond Hill, Montville, CT.
