Lemuel's son Hiram married Sally Lyon. Daughter Azuba married Barnes Lee; Hannah married Abram Van Buren; Sally married Jacob Moore.

17 Feb 1829 Joseph Sargeants of the first part. Job Sargeants and Tina his wife, Abraham Van Buren & Hannah his wife, Barnes Lee and Zuba his wife, of the second part. Lemuel Sargeants of the town of Milford departed this life on 16 Jan 1829 - owned a parcel of land in the town of Milford bounded on the east by Thomas Baker, on the south by Benjamin Aylsworth, on the West by Rufus Brown, and on the north by Samuel Bixby, about 83 acres. He had personal property - two cows, two sheep, three hogs, one waggon, one Sleigh, one plough, one harrow, one fanning ___, household furniture, etc. He left the following heirs at law: Zuba Sargeants who intermarried with Barnes Lee. Joseph Sargeants who married Minerva Scott. Job Sargeants who married Tina Van Buren. Hannah Sargeants who married Abraham Van Buren. Hiram Sargeants & Sally Sargeants, now infants under the age of 21 years.
For $820 paid by the party of the first part and receipt acknowledged, parties of the second part quit claim and release all title, etc. to the lands and personal property. Joseph Sargeants shall pay all of the debts owing. After the death of Tamer Sargeants, widow, Zuba, Hannah & Sally, shall receive all the household furniture to be divided equally.

17 Feb 1829. Hiram Sergeants deposed and stated he saw the above sign - they were known to him and were the same persons. Tina Sergeants, Hannah Van Buren and Azubah Lee were examined apart from their husbands. Geo. A. Starkweather, Com. Recorded 17 Feb 1829.
