Isaac McBee age 31, b. KY. Sarah 28, b. TN. Louvina Blanzet 9. Mary C. Blanzet age 6. [Stepdaughters? Or nieces? I have seen these girls placed as daughters of Isaac's sister Mary. However, Sarah was apparently a widow when she married Issac and I think these girls might be hers.]

In 1860, Sarah is with James Blansett, Jr., age 22, she is 18, no children yet, but Malinda Blansett, age 15 is living with them - Subdivision 10, Claiborne Co TN. They were living between James' father - James Blansett, age 53, wife Mary A. age 23, and Pleasant McBee, age 51.

Pleasant McBee, age 71. Isaac age 41, son, b. KY. Lucinda age 25, daughter. Sarah, age 37, daughter-in-law. Mary C. Blanset, age 16, granddaughter.


I found Isaac on FindaGrave.com. The only problem is that the date of birth is 10 years older than the 1850 census indicates. There is no picture of the stone. I suspect that Isaac was born in 1838, not 1828

Isaac McBee was the son of Pleasant McBee 1806-1885 & Nancy Kelly 1806-1885.
