County Records, 1778 - father Thomas gave gift of 103 acres; Ezekiel and Polly sold the land in 1787 to Henry Mitchell. This was part of 503 acres sold to Thomas Haydon by William Fitzhugh & wife Ann of Stafford Co. on 10 Apr 1770.
July 6, 1787. Ezekiel Haydon and Polly, his wife, of Spots. Co. to Henry Mitchell of Fredksbg. œ133 18s. curr. 103 a. in Spots. Co. and purchased by Thos. Haydon [father of sd. Ezekiel] of Wm. Fitzhugh, Esqr., etc., etc. Witnesses, Jas. Somerville, Wm. Harvey, Jno. Miller, Jno. McFarlan. Septr. 4, 1787.
