William McKim
(1766 - 14 Dec 1847)
Although William is shown in databases as a son of David McKim and his wife Sarah Springer, no such son was recognized in the will of David McKim, written in 1817. Both men were of Sadsbury Township when they wrote their wills. However, more proof is needed.

[There was no son George and no daughter Sarah named in his will in 1843 - sons William & James were both deceased. A Thomas mentioned in the grave inscriptions above died before William did and wasn't included in this list.]
It is also possible that Joseph & David McKim belong to the McKim family that was in Mifflin Co, PA, about the same time as this William was in Chester Co. The link from Pennsylvania, to Ohio is not yet proved. There is a bequest in William's will to a son of his son Joseph, named John and also to a George W., relationship not stated but immediately follows the bequest to grandson John. Joseph apparently did have sons named John and George W.
