Late Pierson Stevenson
After being an invalid for two years, Pierson R. Stevenson passed away at his home, 302 South Twelfth Street, May 14th. The funeral was held las Friday, Rev. Paul G. Preston of the First Christian Church conducting the services at the home, and the Eagles paying a tribute to their deceased brother at the grave in Oak Cemetery. Many beautiful floral offerings covered the casket.
Mr. Stevenson was a brother of Ike and W. H. Stevenso and was 53 years old. He came to Fort Smith thirty years ago, and for many years was engaged in busess here. He was born in Boone County, Missouri, where his father was a prominent citizen of many years.
The deceased possessed a very congenial personality and had a great many friends in Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Dailey.

Mrs. P. B. Stevenson, aged 43 years, whose husband passed away a few weeks ago, died Tuesday morning at the family home, 302 South Twelfth Street. She had been ill for several years, and her devotion to her husband during his long illness impaired her condition beyond recovery. she was loved by many friends and acquaintances and her charitable work will be greatly missed. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jack Daily. Dr. F. F. Gibson officiated at the funeral yesterday.
