Thomas W. Jones

(Ca 1816 - )

Thomas W. Jones was in Fluvanna County, VA 1840, along with his father. He and spouse were both age 20-30, with one male child under 5. The age is right to be the boy under 10 in 1820.

1850 Census, Amherst Co. VA
Household 870, Eastern District. Thomas W. Jones, age 35 [b. 1815], Farmer. The rest of his family is not there - a page is missing. The next digital image is two McCrary children followed by household 891. I have access two places for this census and the page is missing in both of them - household numbers go from 870 to 891 - there could even be two missing pages.
Thomas W. Jones is on the Slave Schedule, Amherst Co, with 14 slaves.

I cannot find his family in 1860. Nor can I find him on the slave schedule for that year.
