It seems reasonable to assume that this Benjamin H. Jones, shown by censuses to have been the father of Zachariah F. Jones, whose bio does states his father was Benjamin Haden Jones, was the son of the earlier Benjamin Haden Jones, and a grandson of John Jones and Susanna Haden. There would be no other reason to perpetuate the Haden name. I have no other proof that he was the grandson of John Jones & Susanna Haden except for census records showing the elder Benjamin Haden to have had a son of this age. However, another Benjamin H. Jones did live in Albemarle Co near this man; he was slightly older. This does leave some room for doubt. The 1850 census suggests that the other Benjamin H. Jones was a son of a Basil M. Jones.
