Individual Details

In the estate settlement of Elijah Sebastian, 1853, there was listed a son, Brown Sebastian of Texas. In the final settlement in 1857, there was no one by this name but there was an E. B. Sebastian, not named in the first list. Presumably this is the same man. He would seem to be the first son by Elijah's second wife, Sarah.

I have seen his name online as "Edwin B. Sebastian", but since his older half-brother was Edwin, I doubt very much that was his name. The "Brown" seems certain given the estate settlement. Perhaps he was named for his father.
