Lydia ADAMSON

(8 Oct 1786 - 11 Nov 1837)

Lydia married 20 Nov 1806 to Joseph Lamb who was b. 25 Mar 1782, d. 29th d 7th mo 1855, Clay Township, Wayne Co IN. He was a son of Henry M. Lamb and Ann Dennis.

The bond reads "Joseph Lamb to Lidya "Addison". Samuel "Addison" was bondsman. Samuel Adamson was Lydia's brother married to Joseph Lamb's sister Naomi.

18 Apr 1829, the Center MM of Guilford Co, NC granted a certificate to the Vermillion Monthly Meeting in IL,but apparently they never went to Illinois as they were in Wayne Co, IN.

1850 Census. Green Twp, Wayne, IN, Hh 379

Ithamer Lamb, 25, b. NC and what appears to be his family: Margaret, 28, b. Ohio, Luiza E. age 4, Byrena L, 2 [female] , Martha, 6 months.
Lydia A., age 17
Byether, age 20 [male]
Note: These last two, Abiather & Lydia S. woud seem to be grandchildren of Joseph - they were son and daughter of his son Ezekiel & Rachel Adamson Lamb. I wonder if both their parents were deceased as they seem to be the only two children.
