Anna's Missouri Death Certificate, #13835. Her address was given as 802 Rex Crossing, Joplin, and she had lived in the community for 40 years. She was widowed. Born 25 Feb 1866 at Iola, Kansas, and died 2 Apr 1947, age 81 years, 1 month, and 8 days. She had had cardio-vascular and renal diease for some 5 years prior to her death. Her father was Page Fisher, born in Illinois. Her mother was Unica Stamps, born in Texas. The informant was Mrs. N. H. Carson of the same address [her daughter Laura]. She was buried on Apr 4th, Forest Park Cemetery.

Long Illness is Fatal to Mrs. Anna Comstock
Mrs. Anna Comstock, 81 years old, died at 11:45 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Laura Carson, 809 Rex Crossing, after an illness of eight months.
She was a member of the Forest Park Baptist church. She was born in Iola, Kan., and had lived in Joplin 40 years.
Survivors include besides Mrs. Carson, a brother, Frank Fisher of Glendale, Calif.; a nephew, J. R. Lowell of Chicago, and a granddaughter.
The body was received by the Thornhill-Dillon mortuary.
