There is a case in Chancery, Rockbridge Co VA
Saml Moore v. Heirs of Andrew McCampbell
On 18 Feb 1795, Samuel Moore had purchased of Andrew McCampbell, 43 acres, but no title was made before Andrew's death. He is suing Nancy McCampbell, widow & relict of Andrew, and John, Polly, Rachel, James, Nancy, Elizabeth and Andrew, under the age of 21, orphans and heirs at law of Andrew McCampbell.
Guardians appointed for the underage children were James McCampbell & John Tedford. Nancy answered on 5 Aug 1799 that she willing to make Title as directed by the court.
A slip of paper with the names of children has ages for some - John was 17, Polly 15, Rachel 13, James 10. Nancy, Elizabeth & Andrew were listed after them and in that order but their ages appear to have faded out.
