A Charnal Hightower married Mary Ware, 24 Dec 1815, Laurens Co GA, but he is not the same man.

There was a son referred of Charnel referred to as William Hightower Jr in the papers of the Orphans Court of Autauga Co AL when Chanel's father died. The next year a William L. Hightower was appointed administrator along with Philemon Hightower. I don't know if that's the same man, but it's likely.

Other children are named by Inference in 1833, their relationships made clearer by a lawsuit in 1837, when Charnel's brother William Jr. died. James Anderson was one of the administrators proposed in 1833 - he was married to Charnel's daughter Bethsheba and they had a number of children. William Anderson was married to his daughter Martha. James Sample married Charnel's daughter Lucy Shelton Hightower. Daughter Milly had married Mathew Aldridge. Daughter Philoda had married Thomas Clark. And there were sons, William T., Cuthbert H. and Joshua.
