Isabella married Daniel McKamin. The bond was dated 27 Aug 1801. Daniel made his mark and the name is also spelled McKaman within the same document. In the Rockbridge marriage register it is Daniel McKammin. Isabella is stated to be the daughter of Isaac Lawson and Isaac also signed the bond. The date of their marriage was 5 Sep 1801. Minister was John Cree. One version of the record states she was was born 1780; McKamin, b. 1777.

Most of Isaac's family appears to have left Rockbridge Co quite early. It is likely that Isabella and Daniel remained in the area. From 1822 through 1828, Daniel McKimin/McKemin/McKimmins appears on the personal property tax rolls declaring two or three horses. In 1826 and 1827, an Isaac McKimmins also is on the rolls. IN 1829, only Daniel was present and that is the last year he was found.

Online databases indicate that Isabella may have died circa 1820 and Daniel remarried to Jane Evans; children with Isabella are all said born near Lexington, Rockbridge Co. One of the spellings of the surname is McKeeman. Children are said to have been:
