Individual Details
Nathaniel Porter
(15 Nov 1680 - Abt 1709)
The Buell book states that Nathaniel, killed at Ft. Ann, was a son of Samuel Porter and Hannah Stanley and that does seem to be so. However, Samuel Porter was a brother to the John Porter who married Mary Stanley, not his son as Welles professes in the book. Both were sons of the immigrant John Porter.
Administrators appointed when Nathaniel died were William Buell, Eunice, Porter and Peter Buell.
