Ann Echols married Daniel Williams, who with wife Ann, deeded 400 acres on the branches of Polecat Creek to William Mayes 18 April 1765. They moved to Tennessee where their son, Sampson Williams served in the state legislature and was a sheriff of Davidson County, Tennessee.
