There appears to have been only one Joseph Waddill in St. Peters Parish.

Billy, a Negro belonging to Joseph Waddell was born 10 Sep 1723. Note: Although Joseph would have been only about 16 at this time, his father Charles was dec'd and he could have been the owner of a slave.
Mar & Jane, Negroes of Joseph Waddell were baptized 29 Sep 1729.
There is also the recording of a slave girl, Venus, belonging to Joseph, born 25 Oct 1735 and died 1 Nov of the same year.

Only the birth of one child is recorded: Charles, son of Joseph & Judith Waddell was born 9 May and baptized on 23 June of 1737.

Cabell mysteriously assigned twins, Turner Thomas and Judith Waddell, born 1 Mar 1755, also to Joseph and Judith, although no parents are given for them in the Parish registry. Given the gap of some eighteen years since the birth of their son Charles, I doubt this.
