Elizabeth Hendrickson found online as a the mother of Silas Breeding - the daughters not shown. When Alexander [and Silas] appear in the 1850 census in Iowa, Alexander's wife is Mary age 43, born about 1807 which makes her just a bit too young to be the mother of Polly, Silas & Margaret. There is no natural age gap among the children listed with Alexander & May in 1850 so I'm assuming these younger children are all theirs. I searched for a marriage in Shelby Co, Iowa where Alexander was living in 1840 and did not find one. The wife was younger in 1840, as well.
