Noah William Hunt Dies Near Spearsville.
Noah William Hunt, son of David S. & Mary Hunt died at his home near Spearsville [Brown Co, IN], Sept 7, 1940 at the age of 90 years, 3 months, and 2 days.
Mr. Hunt had been a resident of that vicinity for a long period of years and was well known throughout the community.
He was born at Taylorsville, IN on June 5, 1850 and had been engaged as a salesman for a period of years.
He was married to Sarah P. Owens until death called her away seeral years ago.
In his acquaintance with the people of this community, Mr. Hunt made many friends and to them was known affectionately as "Granpa" Hunt. To these friends and the surviving relatives, "Grandpa Hunt" will be sadly missed.
Funeral services were conducted at the Spearsville Church of Christ with Rev. Clarence E. Davis in charge. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
