27 Mar 1751. Hinchia Mabry Sr. gave 680 acres to sons Nathaniel and Daniel.

Deed Book 7 (Abstracts)

Indenture made the 26th day of October, 1761, between Peter Avent and Amy, his wife, parties of the first part, and Richard Blanks, for 120 pounds, conveying 250 acres on West side of the Otterdam Swamp, and adjoining the mouth of the Lick Branch and land of Col. John Willis and Daniel Mabry, and being part of a tract devised to the said Peter Avant by his father by his Last Will and Testament in Sussex County. No witnesses. Indenture and Memorandum of Livery of Seizin were acknowledged in Court on October 26, 1761 by Peter Avent and Amy Avent, and Amy Avent relinquished her right of dower. Deed Book 7, Page 22.

Joseph Mabry (should have been Joshua, not Joseph) of Luningburg to Daniel Mabry, for 5 shillings and Love and Affection which he the said Joshua Mabry hath and beareth unto the said Daniel Mabry, conveying 7 Negroes, dated the 25th day of November, 1761. Signed by Joshua Mabry. Witnesses were John Maclin and Frederick Maclin. Bill of Sale was proved in Court on January 25, 1762, by the oaths of the witnesses. Deed Book 7, Page 161.
