Ann was the widow of Ambrose Jackson, Sr, who died before December of 1745. Her maiden name may have been Wyche - she may have been the daughter of James Wyche of Surry Co, VA. Ann & Ambrose had at least five children: John, Tabitha, Anne who married Samuel Harwell, Ambrose the 2nd, and Henry.

The Virginia Genealogist Vol 31 page 101 article "The Jacksons of lower
Virginia". Ambrose Jackson Sr's. will was written 14 June 1745 and
recorded 5 Dec 1745. In it he named his wife Ann, whose maiden name is
not known. Ann was dead by 28 March 1751 according to a judgment of the Brunswick Co Court on that date against Hinchia Mabry regarding a slave that had belonged to Anne Jackson who had intermarried with Hinchia.

A lawsuit brought by Samuel Harwell, husband of Ann's daughter Anne, stated the date of this marriage.
