Never married but lived with and cared for her parents. She lived on the home place until her death; her cousin Caroline lived with her. Eliza deposed for her brother Andrew to draw his Civil War Pension, attesting to his condition when he came home from the War and his continued disability from his injury. The court case to transfer ownership of the home place to Morgan Pippin followed her death.
