John W. married Mary Ann Wade abt 1847 in Savannah, Hardin Co TN. Some online databases have that they married in Arkansas, but they were still in Tennessee in 1850.

Unable to find in 1870. Stone Co was still part of Izard Co. There is an almost ten year gap in ages of the children between Nancy who was 2 in 1860 and Matilda who was 13 in 1880. I feel sure there are missed children. Mary did say she had 13 children, in 1900, and I can account for only nine.
