Campbell Franklin Thompson died 3 Feb 1923 in Hysham, Greasure Co, Montanta, from chronic interstitial nephritis complicated with influenza. He was born 22 Aug 1850 in Wheeling , West VA. He was married - his wife, Victoria Thompson. He was a Laborer. His father was Joseph Thompson; his mother Amelia Mabry. Elmer Thompson of Hysham was the informant. Buried Hysham, Montana, Feb 6th.

Campbell Franklin Thompson, aged 72 years, passed away at his home in Hysham early Saturday morning following a week's illness.
Mr. Thompson moved to Hysham in 1916 and took up a homestead on the north side of the Yellowstone River.
Mr. Thompson was a highly respected and kindly gentleman with many warm family friends here.
The deceased was born in Wheeling, W.V, August 22, 1850, and with his parents moved to Illinois when eight years of age, where he resided until he came west.
He was married in 1874 to Victoria A. Widby, who survives.
Seven children were born to this union, four of whom survive: Son: Elmer Lee Thompson
B: 02/08/1875 Illinois / D: 12/16/1941 Billings,MT.
and Miss Minnie of Hysham, Mrs. Della Hendricks of Kent, Iowa, Mrs. Lena Poyer of Ithaca, NY, and one sister Mrs. L.D. Kane of Illinois.
The funeral was held at the home of Elmer Thompson Tuesday afternoon, Rev. G.B. Nye conducting the services.
Interment was made in the Memorial Vale Cemetery in Hysham
