Victoria Thompson Dies at Son's Home Monday Afternoon
Mrs. Victoria Angeline Thompson, 81, passed away at the home of her son, Elmer l. Thompson.
She had been confined to her bed since last December 10 when she broke her right hip. A week ago she suffered a paralytic stroke.
She was born in Kentucky on Oct. 19, 1854, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Widby.
She was married to Campbell F. Franklin in Kentucky on March 26, 1874, and later they made their home at Plymouth, Ill.
They came to Hysham 19 years ago and Mrs. Thompson lived there for 15 years before coming to Billings.
Mr. Thompson passed away at Hysham in February, 1923.
Besides her son she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Poyer of Ithaca, N.Y., and Mrs. J. Hendricks of Red Oak, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Emma Wybrant of Plymouth,
13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Smith's funeral chapel, after which the body will be taken to Hysham for interment.
Interment was in the Memorial Vale Cemetery in Hysham.
