1840 Grayson Co VA Census, p.291 Samuel Mabry. 1m -5 [Samuel], 2m 5-10 [Churchwell & Joseph], 1m 10-15 [Absalom], 1m 30-40 [Samuel who was 38]; 2f -5 [Lucy & Nancy], 2f 15-20 [Sarah and ???], 1f 30-40 [Tabitha]
1850 Census, Carroll Co VA, Household 312. Samuel Maybry age 48. Tabitha 45. Children: Joseph 19, Nancy 16, Lucy 14, Samuel 11, Tabitha Jr. 8, Greenberry 5, and Winfield 2.
1860 Census, Sam Mayberry was listed as a Wagon Maker. Tabitha and daughter Tabitha and daughter-in-law America were all engaged in Spinning & Weaving.
1870, Samuel was age 68. Tabitha 64. America age 30, and Lucy 12, were living with them.
1880 Census, Samuel & Tabitha were living with son Greenberry and his family.

The Carroll Co Death Records for the year 1882 give the following:
Samuel S. Mabry, 6 Nov 1882. Cause: old age. Age: 79 years, 4 months. Parents: Charles & Sarah Mabry. Born Grayson Co VA. Married. Informant: Greenbury Mabry, son. Filed 19 Jul 1883. (He also perhaps a Death Certificate with all of the above - I do not have this record but perhaps this is the original source as there is no image.)
[The Mabry book has a date of death as 2 Nov 1884, and that is on his grave marker, but this is apparently an error]
