However, it seems doubtful this is Cuthbert, son of John. In John Williamson's will, written 30 Jan 1731, probated 17 May 1732, Cuthbert was still a minor child and still living at home. By 1746 he had died, without ever marrying, as his siblings inherited the land he had inherited from his father. This will does indeed mention a brother, also named Cuthbert Williamson, and evidently the above patents are his.
