Individual Details

This son's name has been misinterpreted in the Logan Co Wills & Estate Book as being the heirs of a T. Wilson. George D. Blakey gives his name as Hiero.

26 Oct 1838. For $1 and love & affection to my sisters, Louisa A. Wilson & Maria T. Haden, all my interest in estate of my father Samuel Wilson, sister Virginia A. Wilson, and my mother Margaret Wilson that I shall acquire at her death. In the case of death of either of my said sisters without issue, the surviving sister to have the whole of my interest.

The 1880 census shows this cemetery record is most likely the Hiram Wilson that lived later in Logan Co - his parents both born in SC. His wife listed as Jane E. George D. Blakey indicates that this Hiram is the son of a William Wilson that lived near Bibb's Chapel.
