William Fox was a farmer and shoemaker. He lost a leg in a hay bailing accident on 29 Sep 1836. This family is the connection of researcher Lora Tindall.

Mary age 27, William age 18, John age 16, Almira age 14, Richard age 12, Marion age 9, Joseph age 8, Margaret age 7, Winfield age 3 and Lethy age 1. A note in the margins says "Room house" - presumably the next two are also part of the household. Henry Carter age 75 & born in Alabama, a mulatto, marked "Deaf". And Lydia Savage age 30, born in NC marked "Idiotic".
